Dr Cameron Hazlehurst FRSL FRHistS, is a Founding Director of The Ethicos Group Pty Ltd, and Chairman of the company.
He is the editor and publisher of the Public Sector Ethics Resource Series, a distinguished scholar, and former senior public servant.
Cameron has held fellowships at Nuffield College and The Queen’s College Oxford, and the Institute of Advanced Studies at the Australian National University where he is currently an Honorary Professor.
Dr Hazlehurst served the Whitlam government as an Assistant Secretary, Department of Urban and Regional Development; and was First Assistant Secretary (Strategy) in the Department of Communications, and National Campaign Director, AIDS Information and Education, during the Hawke administration.
Cameron has undertaken consultancies for federal and state agencies on government communication, community participation, justice programs for indigenous communities, and chemicals and health, and chaired advisory groups on agricultural chemical regulation, radiation safety, and environmental hazards.
His professional publications include studies of Australian public administration, the ethics of government communication programs, gangs and public policy, and modern British and Australian political history.
